How do I get my GE model VG4054 VCR out of safe mode?

Will accept tape and then almost immediatley eject it.

hold the VCR button down for about 6+ seconds

this is in my vcr manual, also a GE so probably same across models

Hello Dino. To get mine out of SAFE Mode, I unplugged it from the wall for about 5-10 minutes and then plugged it back in. So far it has worked for me. Wish you the best with yours.
