is water supposed to remain in drum on a maytag neptune washer?

I have a maytag neptune washing machine and it doesnt pump all the water out of the drum.Is this normal operation?It is fairly new.

its normal,the drum is tilted backwards so all the water wont pump out,saves the pump from running dry.tip, if you go on holiday and the machine is shut down for weeks pour some bleech into the drum or it will smell like road kill when you get back.
