I sent my car in for a respray and the guy disconnected the battery. now the radio has gone into safe mode. Can someone please help me out.

I WAS TOLD BY SOMEONE THAT IF YOU PUT A CAR RADIO CASSETTE WHICH IS CODED IN A FREEZER BAG AND PUT IT IN THE FREEZER OVERNIGHT THE COLD IN THE FREEZER ACTS LIKE A FREEZE FAULT LOCATE SPRAY USED BY TV REPAIR GUYS, ONCE THAWED OUT CONNECT THE RADIO AND IT SHOULD WORK ALTERNATIVELY TRY THE GRUNDIG WEBSITE TECH SECTION THEY MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU OUT ALSO LOK IN THE SERVICE HANDBOOK AS THE CODE MAY HAVE BEEN WRITTEN IN THERE MAYBE AT THE BACK?
