When I turn on the phone 3/4 of the screen is white, does this mean that the ribbon cable needs replacing, if so can I do this myself?

in reply to mrs brookes question, yes the ribbon in the e900 has either broken or split thats why your screen has turned 3/4 white they are called flexi ribbons and you can purchase them from ebay for £4.98 inc p+p. also unless you really no what your doing i would reccomend taking the phone in question to a shop to get fixed . it should cost between £10-£20. i hope this has been of some help to you.
