iv changed the water filter but the filter change light hasnt gone off, its gone to red from green. iv turned it off at the plug but it comes back on.

you just need to reset the lights by pressing a combination of buttons on the front panel. Details in instruction book or on samsung website

Hold the "Ice Type" & "Child Lock" buttons in simultaneously for 3 seconds, then release. This should change the filter light back to green.

see your instruction booklet, tells you which buttons to press to reset. Changing the filter does not reset the light
