Cordless extention lead have always been a problem. Try hitting it with a glass hammer or burning it with an underwater lighter.

You should check that the lead is on the same frequency as your house, you can check this by your post code. Secondly check that there are no large pieces of furniture between the socket and the appliance also that the ariel is pointing seventeen degrees west of due north. It is worth noting that when you use this type of electrical lead it is wise to keep a twenty thousand amp diesel generator on standby in your garage. If the garage is more than six metres from the house, Dixons also sell a cordless power connection for the generator.
