What is making my fridge/freezer blow the fuse in the plug?

The fuse in the plug to my beko fridge freezer blows every time I replace it, any ideas what is causing this?

Thanks

I assume you mean that the fuse blows immediately ? If so then barring any cable problem (trapped below the fridge foot and shorting etc) the most likely cause is the compressor, which is not a viable option to have replaced - see my other posts for costings.

maybe a faulty compressor, or start relay,or thermostat,or capacitor,or bad wiring. No definite answer can be given, you just need to meter things out to find the short circuit or excessive load.
