What does the (P) warning light and the (!) warning light mean when they?

What does the "(P)" warning light and the "(!)" warning light mean on the dash of a 2 door '94 nissan micra? I recently had a service and now they won't turn off! I do not have the manual for the car. I thought the (P) was for park brake but it still lights up when the park break is released.

the (!) is the sensor for you handbrake, its telling you that its not been fully released, i would take it back to the garage if i was you and tell them that they have done something to the sensrs when servicing it..

i thought the same as you that 'p' is for park the handbrake....you should go back to where you had the car serviced and tell them they have done somthing to your car and that it was fine before.
