I cant retrieve files from my USB drive, it cant be recognized on any of tyhe computers I use.

It helps if you say what the PCs are and what OS they have. It also help if you say whether the USB drive has ever worked.

Some earlier OSes don't recognise USB drives unless you manually install the drivers. Does the manual that you go with the drive give any hints as to whether this may be the case?
