How can I increase water pressure on Worcester 25si?

I have a new Greenstar Worcester 25si and the water pressure has gone down to almost zero. I inserted the plastic key under the boiler and turned it but it did nothing. It appears to have a tube which is set to lock next to it. Should I unlock this (and how) so that I can turn the key and increase the pressure?

Look in the manufacturers Installation & Service book which should have been left with you when the boiler was installed.

The contents list at the front should have a section about filling the boiler / system.

The key you inserted only opens up a reservoir inside the boiler. You also need to open a "Tap" which on most Worcester combi's is a small grey or white coloured plastic knob which looks like a hexagonal shaped nut. This is usually next to where you've inserted the key, and both are usually fitted onto a black plastic assembly? The tap can sometimes be a bit stiff but they open by turning to the left.

If you insert the key correctly and open the tap (knob) you should hear water running into the boiler. If that happens you MUST turn off the tap as the pressure gauge reaches 1 Bar. Then remove the key.

If it sounds to complicated for you, give your installer a ring.
