self propelled problem?

i have a 6 hp craftsman push lawnmower. the self propelled wheels stoped turning .I can see the belt is turn but the wheels won't move when i engage... any idea or if you know were i can buy a new motor for it...

you need a new belt. Mine was also spining but the belt isnt tight on the engine shaft. You can get a new drive belt @ a Sears Parts STore
