I have a sharp xl-dv50 no longer in warranty and i somehow got a cd stuck in the player. When i turn it on the changer mechanism wont eject. When i remove the side and bottom of the player and place it upside down, i can see the cd stuck in the player but i cannot get it to go back in the disc tray. Does anyone know how I could get to it - either by removing the entire mechanism or just part of it?
Most players have a tiny hole on the front panel, just big enough to fit a straightened-out paper clip. If you push the wire into this hole, it releases the drawer mechanism. Hope this helps.
