my car is making a weird wheering noise?

when i am driving over 30mph my car starts to make a weird wheering noise. it gets werse as the speed gets higher. the noise goes when i turn left but then cums back when i straighten up. it sounds to be in the front of the car. p reg 1.2 clio

check out the wheel bearings. Jack up the front wheels one at a time and spin the wheel - feel any difference between left and right? COuld also be the wheelnuts being very loose - but you would have noticed a wheel coming off by now
