Holes in my drum?

Hi i have a washing machine that is 34 days old and i have had it looked at and been told i have holes in the drum and its my fault, how or what would i have had to have done to do this and is it an expensive job to get fixed could this have happened before i received the machine??? How is it fixable is it worth fixing i cant have a new machine because i am out of the 28 days

If its holes in the outer(plastic) drum, I have seen instances of coins,scissors nails and screws causing damage and yes it can invalidate guarantee,and sometimes the object just disappears without trace... amazin what you get in a washer .. can be an expensive repair but shop around.. try and find places who offer free estimates to give you idea of cost.. if its accidental damage see if your home insurance policy will cover repair..

to put holes in a washing machine drum would require a shotgun. holes are machined into the drum to allow the water to drain. Ignore what you were told about holes in the drum and repost your question stating your make/model of machine and what it will or wont do. as for being over 28 days, if you buy a reconditioned (second hand ) machine from a reputable company the minimum guarantee is 3 months, normally 6.
