How can I remove the rear light cluster on a 53 Ford Fiesta?

I have a broken brake light but cannot remove the rear light cluster cover.

I have removed the the 2 screws but the cluster does not move, is there a tecnique?

there is a plastic 'wing nut' on the bottom in the inside, there is also a clip on the top which you just have to pull hard on
