my diesel fuel pump on my mondeo (running lumpy,misfiring,)
just had recon head,gasket,valves,pistons,basically engine rebuild but running bad can fuel pump have parts replaced????
As Ford fit Delphi pumps you have no chance. Delphi wont even tell Ford how to fix them thus forcing main dealers to use Delphi agents. Many of these agents will usually say pumps worn out,need a recon at ridiculous price.However,we run a large fleet and know how to get round this.Suggest you find Diesel Bobs web page for a straight answer
