How do I check or add R-134 to my refrigerator,as it only will work for a few days then the evaporator becomes solid with ice inhibiting airflow.

I doubt you will need to do anything with refrigerant, the system is sealed. Check your thermostat is cutting off and the compressor isn't running all the time,make sure any drain hoses are clear, if there is high humidity, that can be a problem
