When i copy files to my pen drive (Sony vaio 8Gb) they get corrupted or they don't appear the next time i plug it. is there a downloadable tool to fix it or can it be fixed by technicians.

fit usb pendrive into port. navigate to control panel> administrive tools> computer management> disk management, your usb pen will be found there, highlight it and format, this usually repairs problem, if not drive maker faq's may be of help, tho usually if the above fails then pen fit for rubbish bin
