i fited a new sony cd player to my nissan almera 2001?

i fited a new cd player to my 2001 almera but it keeps blowing the fuse for the tail lights please help

When you pushed the cage containing the CD back into the slot, it's probable that you have caught a wire. I assuming here that you only had to plug in your new unit (using the standard ISO plugs), and didn't have to do any chopping/joining of cables?
