how do I solder chromium?

I have a chrome wire cake cooling stand which has become unsoldered. I cannot get resin cored solder to adhere to it. It just rolls off leaving a layer of resin

Is it worth the bother?,buy a new one,if you are determined to fix it,glue it together (after cleaning it thoroughly)with Araldite Rapid epoxy.
