Wireless connection?

D has purchased a Belkin ADSL 2 Modem Wireless router to use with her Wireless enabled laptop, but I cannot persuade the
BT broadband to recognise the Belkin on my desktop PC.
Must I uninstall BT software to proceed?

I assume that your mean the BT Broadband software on your PC. This type of stuff is often called Bloatware because it takes up a lot of spacer and doesn't really do anything useful. I'd get rid of it anyway.

You don't say how you are trying to get your PC to attach to the Belkin router - which is not helpful. If it is by wireless read below otherwise post a NEW question.

Then assuming XP SP2 go to Start, Connect to, Wireless Connection and click on it. It should find the router by its SSID. (If you have installed the router you will know that.) Click on Connect. You may have to enter an encryption key. Same as the other person is using on laptop.
