Harman Kardon AVR 20 II powering on, but not working?

My Harman Kardon reciever will not play either the radio or thru the tv/dvd. The power turns on, however (for example) the radio numbers are not fully displayed & appear to be scrambled.

Any suggestions of what it may be??
