jack and wheel brace?

just purchased a 1997 (p) renault clio 1.2 and cant find the jack or wheel brace. of course there might not even be one but i cant even see anywhere that it should be located so can someone help me please......paul

Lift the bonnet up, below the windscreen on the driver side is a plastic grill, lift the grill up and the jack should be there,on the passenger side lift the grill up and the bottle for the washers should be there, it might depend on the model but they should be somewhere there.
