renault clio not starting at times?

sometimes go to my 02 Renault clio, engine turns over but will not start,keep trying and it eventually starts

I have a 52 reg clio, had exactly the same problem for a good while now. Have had new battery, a service (which includes changing the spark plugs!!) and an mot, which passed! but still have no resolution to this problem. Hope to god this crankshaft works if i try it then!!!

I have the exact same problem on my 02 Clio. someone suggested me changing my spark plugs

Hi Charlie a common fault for non starting is the crankshaft sensor (renaults best selling part!!!!) around £25 and 10 mins to fit
