I have an alba tvd3408, 14" colour tv dvd combi and it's been working fine up until 2 days ago. when i put a dvd in and it says "loading" at the top of the page usually it then changed to "dvd" nearly straight away but now it doesnt even say dvd it now takes ages to try and load but ends up with "wrong disc" written in the grey bit! its so frustrating because my dvds wont load! can anyone help?

I'm having exactly the same problem, have tried a disc cleaner but it won't even load that or recognise that disc

Hi Becca, It's been a while now ;-) but I was wondering if you ever sorted out the DVD problem? I've got myself the same Tv and just got stuck with the same problem. Please let me know if you found a solution.

Dirty or bad DVD laser. Start by using a cleaning disk.
