I am trying to fit a pioneer cassette player in my 94 renault laguna?

the stereo is 2nd hand and had the connector blocks that fit direct into the stereo so i took the wires out of the renault blocks and clicked them into the pioneer block and they all run fine, the music comes out of allthe correct speakers but the memory doesn't workand i have to set everything each time i turn on the ignition. how do i get the memory to stay?

In the blocks that you have fitted there will be 3 wires,
Red = Power to stereo
Black = Ground wire
Yellow = Memory for the stereo
Basically you need to have the yellow wire to be not fitted to the ignition wire but to a permanant live source !! any other problems with stereos let me know.
