This is a 2005 model but is a brand new unit given to me as a gift. After fully charging the battery, I tried to test the unit. I tried to load a new blank cassette tape, but it is always ejected. The door won't close if there is a cassette loaded.

I disconected my battery pack from the camera for 15 minutes and unplugged the power adpter too. After 15 min I put the battery pack back on and presto, the tape loaded.

This was the first time it happened but I am hoping if it happens again the same fix will work.
