Central Heating Problem - Potterton Flamingo 50?

I have a Potterton Flamingo 50 boiler, which caters for the central heating aswell.
My radiators upstairs all work ok, however my radiators downstairs have all stopped working. You can feel the hot water at the valve going into each radiator, however the radiators are not heating up. I can only summise that there must be some sort of air in the system. help!

I WOULD BE INCLINED TO SHUT ALL THE RADIATORS OF UPSTAIRS AND PUSH THE HEAT DOWNSTAIRS, BUT ONLY HAVE ONE RAD OPEN DOWNSTAIRS BLEED THE AIR OUT THEN MOVE TO YOUR NEXT RADIATOR BUT OPEN FULLY THE FLOW VALVE AND SHUT THE RETURN VALVE OF AND OPEN AGAIN 1.5 TURNS ONLY TO START BALANCING THE SYSTEM AND REPEAT THIS PROCEDURE UNTIL YOU ARE AT THE LAST RAD, THEN OPEN ONE BY ONE THE RETURN VALVE.
