how can i unblock my sd card?

i have a hp photosmart camera e427 6.0 megapixels but my stepdaughter has blocked the sd card, i have tried moving the tab on side of card but nothing happens, the card is a kingston 512mb

On the side is a small switch. if you slide it to unlock or just the oposite to what it is now it should work. Mine locked and its the same sd card!
