how can i fix my hotpoint ew81 halogen oven?

when i turn on my main oven the fan just blows out cold air, what is wrong with it?

it seems the problem is either the element is broken or the thermometer. There's a guide to replace the element in these pages, yet to find something for the thermometer yet though. Hope this helps.
