How do I take out the cylinder barrel of a upvc door without a key?

I've lost the key to my upvc door so can't take out the cylinder barrel which stops me taking the whole lock out and replacing. Is there a way I can do this without the key?

Call a locksmith as he will be able to remove and replace easily. Inexperienced drilling can make a mess and cost more.

Drill just above where the key enters the barrel i do it with an sds drill and masenary 6 mm.....

the only way I can think of is drill the center out and hope its not one of the new hardend steel jobs
