How do I replace the drive cable on a Bolens BL100 string trimmer?

How do I remove the trimmer end of the cable? I have a hex nut around a shaft that I cannot budge.

could be left handed thread also on stihl strimmers there is a hole in strimmer head where you can put a rod to lock up head while you remove nut holding shaft
