I have bought a new heating element for my Baumatic BT3500SS oven and cannot see how to change the element.

The heads on the fixing bolts are so small i cannot get a grip on them, does this mean i have to take the oven out and approach this from the back of the appliance

yes you have to remove the back panel, remove the nuts at the connection side of the element, then remove the nut from the other side. the connections are also at the back
ps remember to switch the cooker off at the mains.
