Just try removing the power for a short time to reset the system.
This happens on my wife's car a lot - and stops the CD working until you reset it - I'm suspecting it has something to do with the CDs being dirty.
You need removal keys to get the radio out (cheap on ebay), then just take out the plug at the back (on the left) for a few seconds and put it back in again.
You need to reenter the radio code when it starts up again - so make sure you have this first!
