I have a Russell hobbs kettle Model 3122 and after surfing the net I can find numerous places to purchase filters, - but where can I get a new element

I just got through to Russell Hobbs customer service department in Manchester.

Heating elements for Models 3122, 3123 and many other kettles are not available. It's a throwaway society. Chuck the whole kettle away

Is it an Optec flat element. Like gold dust.
