How can I fix My electric piano?

I have a Korg electric piano. Some of the keys don't sound off when you touch them.I took it apart but I couldn't see the spot where the sensors meet. The board hides it.Is there a way I can fix it if I remove the board? It is a Korg SP-200

I have a Korg EC120 Digital piano and one of the white keys has no sound. The rest of the keys work. What can I do to fix it?

Yup! It's not too difficult but a bit "footery". You have to remove the entire keayboard. If you take it easy it all makes sense. There are 3 metal brackets with small screws which need to be removed. Then all of the similar screws holding in the long PCB. The contacts are in the form of a moulded soft rubbery mats with several rows of 2 buttons per key. They are held in place by a rubber "rivot" moulded and squeazed into a hole on the PCBA. I've had several problems with keys jammed on full velocity or very little velocity. I tried different methods of cleaning the contacts first with water and gradually more chemical. Nothing made any difference. I reasoned they had micro fractures of the ferrous pad which makes the contact. Korg are very good at delivering replacement strips of contacts for a few pounds so I recommend just changing the faulty one. You can cut individual sets of contacts. You don't have to change the entire strip.

Hope this helps.
