Fix Fault Emachine

I have an emachine monitor which I love, but the button to turn screen on/off is broken. Any way I can buy a part and have a local handyman try to fix it?

My Magnavox Tv wont display widescreen using a emachine computer, it was working but then went back to normal mode, what setting needs to be changed to fix this problem?

The monitor had been turned off with the on-off button. It has not responded to the button since then and the screen remains dark.
