for no reason at all the screen just stopped working - it shows white but the sound is fine - eyepiece works fine, but not the screen - any ideas please

I have a Samsung SD 103 I was taking pictures then when I turned it back on about 15 min later the screen is blank. I can see through the view finder. Any help on this problem.

I have a brand new Samsung SMX F30. The picture is upside down and the menu button doesn't work. Any suggestions?
