how do I change piston arm on my qualcast t40 lawnmower engine Tecumseh prisma

how are the linkages connected to the carburator from the fast & slow bracket which is fitted by 2 screws on top of the carb on a Harry lawnmower fitted with a TECUMSEH ENGINE

mower starts and runs normally but engine stalls when mowing commences. Is there a method of advancing the timing or revs.?

I want to remove the carburettor from a Mountfield Empress 83601 lawnmower with a Tecumseh 143 engine
