Removing a 2D fluourescent light tube?

I need to remove a General Electrics 2D style fluourescent tube from a circular light fitting. How does it come out? I can't see any screws directly associated with this. Are there clips to release?

If you can't see any screws on the cover or diffuser of the fitting then it is of the push on interference type. Take a hold of the cover with both hands and twist and pulldown at the same time, this should remove the cover, other types have three clips inside which you should be able to see on closer inspection. The compact tube itself is of the push fit type.
hope this helps
