Dripping Super Tap?

I cannot release the main body of the super tap. I thought once I loose the hexagonal nut the body of the tap would drop away.

They say no need to turn off the water supply, I always do. Remove the hexagonal nut on the top.The body has a left hand thread so be careful not to damage the chrome finish! best of luck.Make sure that you have the correct washer there are several types.
