How can I fix my hot water?

My Halstead "High Ace" combi bolier is working fine for heating but does not register when a hot tap is turned on therefore no hot water comes out. Is there anything I can do myself to fix it or should I call a CORGI plumber?

...and try pressing the red button on bottom of the boiler (overhead reset button). Didn't work for me, though.
