how do i install ram into my athlon amd1400 tower?

i know how 2 fit the ram internally but its the installation throught windows that i am unsure about is it throught dos or cmos or ???? many thanks

Ram does require no installation at all. Simply plug the RAM in, and windows will automatically recognise it. Simple as that.

Just make sure the RAM is the correct type for your machine.
