A message on my camcorder is c:31:23 and will not do any thing else I need to know what to do to fix. I have taken the battery off for several hours and tried to clean the heads now what else can I do.

With power switched on push in the tiny reset button found on the main panel. "C" type errors usually occur as a result of logic confusion in the camera. Hope this helps you.
