Fist off mate which thermostat switch are we talking about.
If its the coolant thermo, then its quite eays, locate the thermostat housing, there should be wires proptruding out of a bulbus looking object, this is the thermostat switch housing, there should be2 different sized Nuts, the larger 1 is the one you have to remove, do that and simply replace the unit.
