How can I fix my 'whirlpool fridge/freezer'...model S20D RSB33?

The temperature in the fridge part of our 'Whirlpool side by side' has gone 'haywire' and everything in that part is freezing solid.
Has anyone experienced the problem with this appliance or for that matter any other make?

It would appear to be a fault with the air diffuser at the top left hand corner of the fridge....it can freeze up and break when the motor trys to close the vents. Replacement is the only option.
