I bought a cd player for my Grandad's car - A pioneer DEH-1900R. I wanted to fit it for him but not sure how. Can i but an adaptor plug so that i don't have to cut wires etc? Plug the old wire loom connector in and then plug the new one into the stereo?

the only wire's that you have to change around are the constant 12 volt & the switched 12 volt the fitting's are the same,these two wire's do have a split in the middle so you can detach both and change over (i think it's the red & orange wire's) hope this help's
