Blomberg BC272NFS Fridge Freezer?

I have a Blomberg BC272NFS Fridge Freezer in the flat that i am renting.
There is an orange switch on the roof of the upper fridge compartment, next to the light and the fridge temperature dial - can anybody tell me what this is please, as there are no instructions - i wondered if it was a fast freeze or a frost free switch for the freezer?
Any help is much appreciated.

hi,this is an ambient heater switch,it heats the back of the fridge compartment so it turns on and off in really cold weather.not a good idea to use it if appliance is in a warm kitchen.mainly for use in unheated areas and costs money to use.
