how can i fix my headlight ford mondeo m reg?

i have a main beam head light bulb out.i have changed the bulb for a new one.a mate tells me it could be the fuse.where and which fuse should i replace?

Hi Tony, the fuse's are in the battery bay fuse box, R/H main fuse17, L/H main fuse18, R/H dip fuse15, L/H dip fuse16 all are 10amp
