why does the cooking rings on my diplomat ceramic hob keep switching off?

When I put the Diplomat ceramic hob on in order to cook.The hot rings stays on for a couple of minutes only . and after fadind away they come on agaqin at random.Is there a way to keep the Electric rings on all the time I need them to be on?????

If i understand it correctly, its part of the thermostat (temperature control) if you want the plate at a low termperature it turns off more frequently.

turn them to the max setting available as this is the hottest and should stop them going off so much
